📦 Packaging

🧳 Real Packing Tips

Stop overpacking.
You’re going on a trip, not moving to another planet. 🌍

👕 17th pair of underwear won’t save you.
It’ll get dirty like the 1st. Or the 5th. Wash it. Deal with it.

👔 8th T-shirt is just extra weight.
👠 Fancy shoes in the desert? Come on.

💡 Pro tip: Dirty clothes don’t get cleaner just because you carried more of them.

🎒 Always keep everything at hand.
No oversized bags. No heavy backpacks.
Carry-on only for flights. Minimum gear on the road.

🚫 This trip is not a fashion show.
No posing for Instagram, no partying with the tattooed metrosexuals.
This is travel — raw, messy, real.

Pack less. Travel lighter. Move faster.
If you really need something — they probably sell it there too.

🧳 Traveling — Toiletry Kit

Minimalist. Fast. Brutally practical. 🏍️

I keep a fixed travel kit always ready to go:

  • 🪥 Toothbrush
  • 🦷 Toothpaste (mini hotel size)
  • 🧴 Liquid soap & hotel cream (mini)
  • 🪒 Razor
  • 🦟 DEET spray
  • ✂️ Nail clippers
  • 📏 Paper nail file
  • 🩹 Small stick for stopping bleeding
  • 🏖️ Quick-dry microfiber towel

💡 Pro tip for the lazy or minimalist (anti-puppies style):
You can shave with liquid soap + a bit of water instead of foam, and use cream instead of aftershave. Works even better for sensitive skin — less irritation, same result.

🧴 Sunscreen – Forget it. Save half a kilo. Worst case: buy locally.

Pack light, stay clean, and keep moving.
Extra stuff? Buy it on the road. No bullshit.

🧼 Toiletries – Hotel Minis Rule

Always grab the hotel soaps, shampoos, and creams 🧴 — they’re small, light, TSA-friendly, and usually way stronger than the junk you’d buy at home.

✈️ Don’t drag liquid soap or shampoo from home. You won’t get it through airport security, it weighs a ton, and — surprise — they sell it everywhere.

💡 Pro tip: save weight and space. A few minis are all you need for weeks on the road.

🧳 Bonus: if you use the same small travel kit every time, you’re always ready to go.

🧻 Toilet Paper – Your Best Friend in the Wild

Here’s the dirty truth 💩 — there will be moments when you’ll thank yourself for packing a roll or at least a few sheets.

Some places don’t believe in toilet paper. Some ran out. Some… well, let’s just say your stomach had its own travel plans.

💡 Pro tip: flatten a half-used roll, stuff it in a zip bag, and keep it handy.
🌍 When nature calls, you don’t want to be the one begging strangers for napkins

💊 Travel First Aid Kit

Minimalist. Ready. Practical. 🌍

I keep a first aid kit always ready — restocked roughly once every 10–12 years.

Inside:

  • 💊 Anti-diarrhea meds (technically, but honestly… whisky as prevention works better)
  • 💥 Painkillers for back, head, or whatever hurts, I like Brufen
  • ❄️ Theraflu
  • 🤢 Motion sickness meds
  • 🩹 Betadine, bandages, medical tape
  • ✂️ Children’s scissors (yes, size matters for carry-on!)
  • ⏱️ Superglue (instant adhesive)

⚠️ Security warning: Even with scissors tiny sizes, airport checks are 50/50.
⚕️ Pack according to your personal health needs.

💡 Real talk: I rarely ever use it. But on long trips? It’s a burden, but nobody knows. You still can buy many things locally, but is better to have it and not need it than need it and curse yourself on the road.

🍴 Travel Eating Kit

Minimalist. Practical. Brutally honest. 🌍

Always packed:

  • 🥄 Foldable spoon & fork
  • 🥢 Plastic chopsticks
  • 🧻 Wet wipes (life saver)
  • 🥤 Collapsible silicone cup (Sea to Summit, 4 dcl)
  • 💧 Plastic “bottle” (Platypus, 2L)

⚠️ Pro tip: Never, ever make a garlicky soup in that cup.
The aroma lingers… almost as long as the memories of your first time.

Travel light. Eat clean. Avoid regret.

📱 Travel Electronics – Keep It Real

Minimalist. Practical. No bullshit. 🌍

Always packed:

  • 📱 Phone with good battery life
  • 🔌 Charger
  • 🎧 Noise-cancelling headphones (for screaming kids on planes)

❌ You don’t need a tablet.
❌ You don’t need a power bank.
❌ You don’t need a connection to some imaginary satellite.

💻 If you’re a digital nomad (like sometimes me):

  • 13″ laptop
  • Adapter

💡 Pro tip:
Travel without roaming or mobile data. Ask locals for directions or where to stay — it’s way more fun than scrolling web pages.
Wi-Fi exists almost everywhere anyway.

The world is waiting. Don’t waste it staring at screens.
Travel to live, not to play on your mobile.

👕 Travel Clothing – Minimalist & Brutally Practical

Stop overpacking. Travel light. 🌍

🎒 Footwear:

  • Good sneakers (or shoes suited for the terrain)
  • Flip-flops or thin hotel slippers depending on the season — let your feet rest and breathe

🧥 Clothing:

  • One outfit for transport & current weather (what you wear on planes, buses, trains)
  • One set of underwear on you, plus one spare set
  • One spare T-shirt
  • Something for unexpected weather — jacket, shorts, or dress
  • Compression socks for flights
  • Rain cover (useful not just in rain, but also in wind)
  • 🧣 Buff – Neck, scarf, hat, sleep mask. No hat needed unless you’re going to the south pole

🧦 Materials:

  • All clothing synthetic for quick drying
  • Socks: cotton is comfy, but pack one synthetic pair too
  • Hiking pants are worth it; jeans or cotton T-shirts? Only if you actually plan to use them

💡 Pro tips:

  • Buy rather cheaper clothings. It is highly probable that you forget, lost, or destroy something.
  • Pyjamas? Forget it. Sleep naked. Train yourself at home first.
  • Synthetic T-shirt & underwear can be washed in lukewarm water in the shower or sink. Dry by morning.
  • Ladies: skip bras. Less weight, more comfort, and you’ll like yourself better anyway.
  • Forgot something? Lost it? Destroyed it? No problem.
Almost everywhere you travel, things are cheap and locally available — usually made in the same region anyway.
If you’re not Bangladeshi traveling to the EU, T-shirts and socks are usually much cheaper than at home.
And even if they are, losing one T-shirt or pair of socks won’t ruin anyone.

Minimalist packing = freedom. Less weight = more adventure.

🧴 Extra Practical Stuff – Minimalist & Brutally Useful

Minimalist. Practical. Brutally honest. 🌍

Always packed (or ready to grab):

  • 🎒 Small foldable backpack — for city trips or quick shopping
  • 🧵 Hair ties / rubber bands
  • 🔪 Pocket knife (where allowed)
  • 👕 Clothesline (never actually used, but who knows)
  • 🗑️ Ziplock bags
  • 🦆 Duck tape
  • 🔦 Headlamp + spare batteries if needed
  • ✏️ Pen & paper
  • 🔒 Padlock with code + cable lock with code
  • 🪡 Needle & thread
  • 🔗 Plastic cable ties
  • 🛍️ Not big plastic bag — always useful, maybe for wet or dirty clothing

💡 Pro tip:

🕶️ Sunglasses – Optional. Think you’ll die without them? Pack ’em. Me? Survived so far.

Everything has a purpose. Nothing is fluff.
Pack smart. Save weight. Be ready for real-life surprises.

🎒 Backpack – Millet Ubic 40

Fits everything you need and still squeezes into airplane overheads — even Ryanair won’t charge you. ✈️
Room left over for souvenirs, snacks, or whatever random crap you pick up along the way.

💡 Pro tip: pack smart, keep it light, and leave some space for the unexpected treasures of travel.

💼 Packed & Ready

I packed everything I’ve shown you — including the laptop. With this setup, I’m ready to go for a week, a month… or even half a year.
Alright, to be fair — I also threw in a softshell jacket off record, but is without water, and without some cookies or a sandwich.

👉 Total weight? Under 9 kg, including water and sandwich.
👉 Without the laptop? Around 7 kg.

🎒 That’s the whole point — travel light, but have everything you actually need.
No junk. No dead weight.
Just you, your backpack… and the world waiting outside.
